The first major collection features Chinatown News, the influential English-language magazine published from 1953 to 1996. With hundreds of issues being digitized and made searchable online, the collection offers an insider perspective on the neighbourhood’s businesses, celebrations, civic life, struggles and triumphs—ensuring the voices of past generations continue to inform Chinatown’s future.
