In the fall of 2018, the Vancouver Chinatown Foundation hosted its annual Autumn Gala, a community-building event for 58 West Hastings that was successfully attended by over 800 supporters, sponsors and community members – together, raising an impressive $1.1 million towards 230 units of social housing and a much-needed 50,000 square foot integrated health facility operated by Vancouver Coastal Health.
